Determining whether a candidate is ready to join your airline, a first officer is prepared for command responsibilities, or an experienced pilot has the qualities to become an instructor requires more than intuition. At AltBlue, our Pilot Assessment process provides an objective, professional evaluation to support your decisions.

Our team of seasoned instructors conducts neutral assessments, reviewing each pilot’s suitability for new roles within your operation. Based on their findings, you receive clear, expert recommendations to guide your selection and promotion process with confidence.

Assessments are typically completed in a single day at AltBlue-approved training locations. Each session consists of three main components:

Personal Interview

to understand the candidate’s mindset, communication, and leadership potential.

Knowledge Test

to evaluate theoretical understanding and decision-making.

Simulator Assessment

a practical session in a full flight simulator, available for Airbus and Boeing aircraft types, to observe technical handling and crew resource management.

FAST module A320

Final Approach Standardization Training
FAST module develops pilot skills to manage high-energy, fast and high approaches under challenging weather conditions. The focus is on effective automation management, strict compliance with stabilization gates, landing technique, and sound decision-making. Pilots strengthen their ability to achieve a stabilized approach, apply precise and proper landing technique or execute a timely go-around when required.
