Instructor and Evaluator Training

From Pilots to Instructor and Evaluators roles
Team Standardization

Standardization forms the foundation of effective training. Before any in-house program can be delivered, it is essential that instructors and evaluators apply consistent methods and share a common approach. Being a good pilot does not automatically make someone a good instructor, and even experienced instructors require additional competencies to evolve into fair and effective evaluators.

Holding a TRI or TRE licence is just the beginning. The real measure is not the licence itself, but the judgement, experience, and professionalism one brings beyond it. Our program provides the tools and methods needed to prepare, brief, deliver training, and conduct effective debriefings and outcomes.

Our tailored seminars make the process practical and realistic. With real scenarios and group discussions led by our Senior Evaluators, participants develop both the theoretical knowledge and the hands-on skills required for the role, while mastering Competency-Based Training and Assessment principles that drive today’s aviation industry. In doing so, every instructor and evaluator grows into a confident professional, bringing quality and consistency to the entire team.

Instructor and Evaluator CBTA

Competencies Based Training Introduction

This 3-day program is designed to strengthen instructor competencies through CBTA (Competency-Based Training and Assessment) principles. Participants will take part in interactive sessions, role-playing, and scenario-based exercises to refine their ability to manage the learning environment, deliver effective instruction, conduct structured debriefings, and grade with consistency to achieve concordance within a group of peers. The course emphasizes advanced assessment and evaluation techniques, TRI/TRE interventions, and strategies for effective instruction. Special attention is given to handling diverse trainee profiles, addressing disruptive situations, and adapting instructional methods to varying skill levels. By the end of the program, instructors will be better equipped to deliver training that is consistent, standardized, and aligned with modern CBTA practices.
